its a fix

does any one else think that most sites are fixed? i find that you always get beat on the river if there is a chance another person has a chance of a far more unlikely winner. sometimes you can even predict what the hand will show after the river because you can only get beat by 1 card.but i think it happens much to often what do you think? thank toploader1

I dont think they are fixed coz they would quickly get found out, and it is really not profitable for a poker site to be fixed coz people wont play there if they are fixed, and they make more money the more people playing at their sites so it just wouldnt make good business sense. They are not worried about which particular person is winning the tournies or the pots at ring games, all they care about is the admin fee on tournies and the rakes in cash games.

I think the only reason it seems like they are fixed is that online you are able to play more hands per hour. Also the times when you do suffer a bad beat (i.e. others hitting their 4outs or whatever) you are more likely to remember it than the hands that you play when they dont hit their 4outs.
