Default FullTilt overtakes Party Poker for 2nd biggest site

    hi all

FullTit Poker has overtaken Party Poker as the 2nd biggest online poker room.

After the AIGEA was signed Party Poker withdrew from US while FullTilt has continued to accept American players

Party Poker player base has dipped massively as a result - check out our reivews of Poker Rooms open to American Players

PokerStars is still by far the biggest site but it's certainly shaken up the market - for better or worse

    cheers scrawnybob

Well now that partypoker is dipping in player base, hopefully some of the fish that swam so nicely at partypoker.com will swim on over to pokerstars.com and if not I've always wanted to go fishing at fulltilt.com. lol.

    Thanks for the info scrawny.

I think this is great news both for Party and Full Tilt. FT has a great software and party has the players they need (plus a lot of payment options). That's gonna be a great site and I would join FTP as soon as they start to accept moneybookers or click2pay.

    Default good tournament sites

    hi

Pacific is a donkey fest - that need not be a bad thing - after all no-one would sit up at a table with all the pro's and expect to win

All depends on your playing style and how well you can handle bad beats - if you can take the rough with the smooth then the sites with the most donkey's are going to be long term the most profitable

take Bodog Poker it's got as many bad players (easy money) as Pacific Poker but the bodog software is nicer - somewhere like PokerHeaven has weak players but they tend to be more passive calling stations than maniacs

for tournies I'd recommend the biggest choice is PokerStars and they tend to play better the same as Full Tilt Poker

Shoot me a PM if you like with your personal preferences / limits / deposit amounts etc and any other info and I will send you some personal recommendations
