Hi I was playing a sit and go with a couple of friends that i hold at my house omce in a while, and want some of your help letting me know if I made the right move or not.
It was the very first hand of the tourney I was big blind was dealt Q-9 off suit, everyone folded except for the small blind who just called, I checked. The flop came Q-9-10. He bet 50 (the blinds were 10-20) I raised to 100. He instantly reraised me to 300. I was thinking he has to have J-K, but called the 200 more chips.
Turn was a 6 he went all in, which was about another 800. I thought long and hard about, and knew he had to have JK, not wanting to get put out in the first hand I folded, but showed him what I was laying down. He in turn showed me his JK. I was relieved to know I had made the right decission. Since we both showed anyways our other friend who was dealing decided to rabbit the river. It was another Queen
, I would have hit the full house.
So now I ask what would you have done in that situation, remember it was the first hand and would have put me out.
