hi all
recently a couple of posts have come up about staking poker players
whilst I was not keen to follow the general trend of non staking poker forums to ban staking threads in the forum - preferring to add a disclaimer that it was up to you and not our problem
other threads have appeared mentioning specific staking sites
(again not too worried as they were not active links) and request
to signup / read members post at mentioned site
the mentioned site has subsequently banned that member
I have no interest in the ins and outs of this or what has happened
but it has lead me to make a straight decision on whether to allow staking threads
so they are now banned -
I dont have the time or incination to enter into the inevitable problems that do arise with staking - I dont want to have to take sides / mediate etc in disputes that whilst as said earlier wouldnt be my problem
Because even with a disclaimer I would still end up feeling obligated to try and sort out someone elses mess if we have enabled staking posts and staking to take place via the forum
hope this makes sense and seems reasonable to all members
BTW there are a few staking forums / sites around which can unsuprisingly be easily found via a
search on google - so please no links to sites on this one

Staking Poker Players Threads are now banned
