hi
when you are close to the money, in a freeroll, think of it as a close/tight basketball game between two medium teams.
this is a game for "six points" for them bacause, if your team loses, you will go down to the very bottom of the table, struggling...
but if your
nervs will be steady, and you will concentrate on the "cashing" and the fact that you need to survive just a little little more - then your team will win the tight match and might be able to continue and "surprise", and get higher at the table, builduing your chipstack because, you already don't have the tense for not cashing! your ANY winning place is already secured!
The more i played, ive found out that in order to build a bankroll, your goal has to be the last place that gets money. also remember that if you want to have a chance to actually win the freeroll: you will have to stay around the final table.
Also my personal advice: go back to your daily freeroll, and try to see, how much time does it take for a tourney to be played in order to win the minimum...
accordind to this, you will know how long it is, that you will have to survive. that will give you a little information, about how you should play your freeroll- Regardless to your chipstack!!!
knowing that i had to "survive" an hour and 45-55 minutes, has helped me a lot at the time
