Default What Got u started in poker!!

What got you started on Poker?

Well, let me start off first..

At first, I love all games

Before I got really serious, I would play some really cheap $10 with my friends; no biggy.

But my best friend is from a Ann Arbor in Michigan; apparently they all play Poker all the time over there.

So he started playing on Full Tilt and Pokerstars and was really good at it.

Eventually, he called me out and said how great it was, and that I should try it. Now I'm hooked and I love Poker.

I mainly play Hold'em, Omaha Hi, and I'm starting to try HORSE.

This is my first forum, and I'll be looking forward to the community.

Cheers

In the beginning, Winston Cigarettes sent my husband an email about playing for prizes. I signed him up and away he went. Watching poker on TV got him started at Absolute Poker. He won some pretty nice money, but it took hours to play in the freerolls. Well, I said "I don't know how you stand to do that for hours-I would never do that!" Well, don't ya know, for some reason I got to playing to see if I could play better than he did.(We're very competetive) Welllllll, now I play more than he does. He reminds me once in a while about that"never" statement.

When I was about 14-15 my friends played a $2 buy in every second day, and on weekends played a $5 buy in. I joined in and watched them alot, and got interested. Played online a bit, stopped for a couple years, then started playing again and here I am now.
