any tips on what to do with a high pocket pair pre flop?

I will usally raise, but if you are playing with agrressive players you could just call their raise or pop it up some more yourself

I always raise with any pair bigger that eights, i just dont understand people slowplaying them. Sometimes id make a bigger raise and other times a smaller one but i always raise with big pairs.

Depends your opponenets and your image. I always raise, it's just a matter of how much.

Anytime you get high pockets you better raise enough to get the small hands out,or they will bite you 4 sure,if you dont belive me,go look in the badbeat section and read the results.

I have got tips from John Juanda about this matter and he told me that a 3xBB raise is the best possible way to play them preflop.

With high pocket pairs I am pretty aggressive. You really only want one opponnet against you as more then one really weakens your hand. If you raise big, you will normally be called with an Ace or a middle pocket pair. You just have to play it out then...

Default depends on how the players at you table play...

80% of the time u should pop it up 4 or 5 BB...mix it up

That is the best way to play them at his level. At the level of online, you want to raise even bigger my friend. At his level, that type of raise actually has respect.
