Addiction to Poker?

Most people with a gambling problem already know it and will usually admit it.They know they have a problem.A drug user knows it,an alcoholic knows it.Sometimes its hard for them to admit to others but they know it.How to help the person is anothr thing.If you have a problem please seek out help,before you lose everything including your family and even your life.Thats the goal of addiction is to completely destroy you!

i have been addicted to poker for quite a few years now. i used to play about 8 live games a week. then i started playing online. my wife was interested, and i tried to keep her away, when she asked how to download the software. i wouldnt tell her, so she did it anyway. so we got into a fight about it, ofcourse. and now she is addicted too, and plays all day long.

Playing poker or cards or bingo,games or whatever,if it doesnt rule your life.Its a lot of fun.If you lose money all the time and your entire family suffers for it,its time to get help.I play online poker everyday just about,but Ive never lost any money at it because all my money comes from freerolls.I have set strict limits for myself and stick to it.Id hope everyone else has limits and sticks to em.If you know you have a gambling problem and cant stick to limits and your family suffer because of your gambling,pick up the phone and call a gambling hotline!Dont lose it all!

I definitely agree. When you are finally taking money outta the family's grocery money each week, you gotta problem. But really, poker is a form of entertainment much as if you were watching TV, playing video games, or even a board game. Until you are at a level where you are losing money you can't afford, then I would say you are pretty good with playing

Yeah i think Im addicted to poker lol.........starting to drive my wife crazy
