Pocket 4s is when you hold 44 as your own 2 cards. But no, not much you could do with such a small stack. A5 suited was looking good for you right there.

instant fold for me - no question

44 is a weak hand even in late position

you didnt get any piece of the flop really

long shot straight draw if you get runner runner

same long shot to make a very weak flush runner runner

with a king on the flop there is a very big possiblilty he has hit the king or has a wide range of drawing hands

low pocket pairs are only really playable if they hit and make you trips - otherwise facing an all-in decision or facing a raise - you should fold

and if you were short stacked I'm not sure I would have played them at all - if you did I would have all-in'd preflop and aimed just to pick up the blinds

I personally love small pockets,but there is a general rule to playing them.If its not an allin,or most of your chips,you need to see the flop.!!! And if you dont have trips or 4 cards of a straight,Fold Fold Fold!!!!!!!

I think that was an instant fold before the turn tooo, u didnt have too many chips there.

And then calling a big bet with 4s that was a really bad play.
