Idea for the Holiday

Guys, lets throw some ideas into the hat and lets try to figure something out that we could do for the holidays here at 4kingpoker. Bob has been very generous to us over the year, and I think it would make him happy to make us feel more as a whole or as a unit if we all do something together for the holidays. Such as each person anonymously donating a certain amount of money for a forum freeroll, or something like that. throw out some ideas guys...

first off on the donations front - I think this came up a while ago - I want 4kingpoker to always be free for members and I dont want anyone to feel they need to contribute to tournament prizes etc - I'll keep funding the tournaments as much as possible and hopefully increase that

It's been a great year and great to have more active members - that is a great thankyou in itself that you all enjoy posting and being part of 4kingpoker ;-)

I'd originally planned to have a bit of a break for a couple of weeks - not from doing work on 4kp but from the fixing tournaments - funding isnt an issue just the admin

I'd also thought maybe wrongly that alot of people would be tied up on other things to want to play so close over Christmas - and thought this would be a good opportunity to tidy up some maintainance issues etc

at the moment some of you may have noticed some problems with deadlinks - infortunately some of the work thats been done wasnt quite implememented as easily as expected & inorder for the solution to be a solution rather than compound the problems it may be a bit up in the air for a while

I've put in a couple of last minute requests for tournaments over the next couple of weeks - so we dont have a break but you'll all have to watch the usual green box in the top right for any changes

i think a good thing would be bob telling something about him, like an interview. I really want to see whos the man behind everything here.

Id love a christmas freroll o FTP, why always doing freerolls on different sites?, i have the desktop full of site icons.

My suggest is we take our silly photos with the theme of "4kingpoker" and send it here. Then we can do a poll and ask which one is the best, just for fun.

I keep meaning to get a pic up on the homepage as several people have said it would be good to have my ugly mug on the homepage to personalise the site - will do that soon promise

maybe I could line up an interviewer like Mike Sexton or something - but I'm not a secret 10 WSOP bracelet winner or anything - just an average poker player

you could set-up an interview with mike sexton or an interview like mike sexton? because either way, I have been trying to get pro interviews for a while now.
