Winner - 4kingpoker Titan Series I

on winning the final of the first 4kingpoker Titan Series

you now have offical bragging rights on the site and also an additional $50 prize (or poker chip set)

It is the first series of tournaments that we've completed - It's been a big learning experience for me as webmaster but hopefully an enjoyable one for everyone who got involved

All the players who qualified to the final earnt their place at the table - which also entitles them to some bragging rights too.

The Titan Series is a little bit different in it's format in that the previous games are point earnig qualifiers to the final - giving everyone a chance to win money along the way and then to prove themselves at a table of the best of the best within 4kingpoker forums.

I'm pleased to say that we have organised another Series at Titan which will be run along similar lines

The 4kingpoker Tour continues next Sunday - the tour does not have a final - it is a straight points system - the one with the most points after 20 events is the overall winner.

it was a great final game and probably appropriate that the top two on the leaderboard before the final game contested the 1st 2 places in the game

It was a great league and great final. I thought Kat was going to go out a couple of times earlier and the title would be mine but she kept fighting back. We both ended up making it heads up and I had a decent lead and my chip stack was growing with some aggresive play. I looked like was in good shape again and then Kat flopped a pair of aces and slow played it perfectly. I hit a king on the river and thought the hand was mine, only to find out she was sitting on a pair of aces . Excellent play, Kat. I never recovered and Kat took it down.


I'm looking forward to the next league to starting this Sunday! Hope to see everyone there!

glad you enjoyed the first titan series - just to clarify on the upcoming tournies -

this coming sunday we're at pokerheaven for a $50 freeroll & then a $50 at poker.com

these tournies are part of the 4kingpoker Tour - this is a series of 20 tournies at different sites (the ones coming up this weekend are games 9 & 10)

• the Titan Series II won't be starting until May - will be 5 games + final

provisionally (so don't hold me to it yet) starting on Sunday 7th May

there will be 3 games on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Sundays in May
($50 freeroll + two $3+0.30 buy-in's each with $50 added)

then on the 1st, 2nd Sunday in June with the FINAL on the 3rd weekend
($50 freeroll + two $3+0.30 buy-in with $50 added including the FINAL)

ScrawnyBob (or do you perfer Bob? or just Scrawny?) does that mean if Titan series 2 gets up and going that the final again will determine the winner?? Personally I'm not a big fan of that where someone can squak into the final game and be really far behind in points then win the whole thing on the final game. This time it worked out well with the top 2 battling out, but I'd hate to see someone to build a huge lead then lose b/c of a bad beat in the final game.

Either way I enjoyed the league and I'll be back for some more. I'll see if I can make more of the 4king poker tour games.
