Yes - I was agreeing with you.

Some people have been talking in this thread as if it's something you should do all the time, as a matter of course. Even when I bluff I still have some outs, so in a way it's more of a semi-bluff, something which Doyle Brunson mentions quite a lot in his Super System book.

I think it its one of the best question in Poker "Is it possible to Bluff?" or is it hand so good that he/she bet house, car and Kids ;-) !

Also is it important which tournament u play Freerolls are crazy u have all kind of people also some crazy guys they call everything!! I have that few days ago! i have J/T and the Flop wasnt so bad for me 3/A/K and i have the Dealer Button (i think is good position to Bluff) and all check, we are with 4 players, i began to Bluff (we all are in the beginning and i won all in with 1500chips my stack was about 3K at this time and i was highest stack at the table other have about 1,5k) so i bet 250 to say i have an Ace and the guy in Big Blind call the other fold! So i know he have the Ace or the King and with the Ace he have no good Kicker ! (cause when he have A/K he would bet)
than the turn bring sh** for me with an 6 and i start to think what he can have and was lil scared of 2 pair with that 6 but he check and give me the position to push so i start my second try and bet 500 so now he is in the position to know i have a good hand but he call! The River brings nothing for me and my bluff was perfect i have nothing lol ! Now i think he put me in a bad position if he bet all in i know it was a trap if he check i must bet or check ! Bet and hope he fold so i must bring him all in or check and see that he beats me with a pair or higher card queen ! so i push cause i think i must try but the pot was so high that he lost the half of his stack when he fold and when he gamble he can double! so i push him all in and he call !
i see an A/4 only a pair with a small kicker !

is that crazy? i think yes and no in a big tournament u stupid to call that but in a freeroll u can do it cause there is nothing to lose and thats the problem to bluff in a freeroll! Later i think it can work when u near the prices but it wont work in the beginning!

The opposite is Cash money a perfect game for Bluffer ! But Bluff works most
at tables with blinds 100/200 and more!

At the smaller blind tables u have people with a lot of money in their pocket and they call many many things a good table to make money with good hands but not so good to bluff possible but not so good!

so i make my own decision to bluff sometimes but i won/lost 50/50 !

All various factor must be right than a Bluff is Possible! Or not? tell me ur experince or the knowledge of pro playing cause i cant know enough about Bluff !

Thx ;-))
the major percentage of the bluffing should be pre-flop and that means to re raise preflop. first, you heed to know that bluffs are possible in most cases against the "good" players who understand the game and are constantly grindin there. you dont want to be bluffing against bad players and there are loads of them.

again, as online is more about odds (and people) its harder to bluff on an unraised pot because so many options people will limp in to make the family pot. thats why i think that raising is criucial at online play and so is the reraise move against a player you know he missed the flop/ you know he wont call a big bet.
oalo its important to notice the type of the table you are at. you should be able to change your game according to the table.

cheers

And on flop , i look at opponent, chip stack and betting paterns, position , own hand , me drawing to a better hand ,, him being on the draw , it's all about the mind .

Bluf is saying i got it ,but you have to sell the hand , if somebody doesnt understand this sentence , you can ask what i mean ...
I find it almost impossible to "sell" your hand on internet poker.

Its quite easy watch the wsop of 1997 , the final table , you'll understand what i mean .

Gabe kaplan explains why stu ungar won that hand , maybe that could help improve your game aswell when it comes to bluffing.

Or watch some of brad booths or phil iveys vids , they are very usefull aswell.

Those Ivey's bluffs at big cash games are simply awesome, if his opponents could see his whole cards they would also see free money coming from Ivey

Default about bluffing

I think, when you have lots of chips, and you donīt care to loose some of them, you are able to bluf and play nay hand, because some hands like 7 2 that no one wants to play, you get a good hand in the flop, like 2 pairs, or full house

Default Bluffing

In my experience you cannot bluff at small stakes. Only better players will fold to a bluff. Also time it,a bluff must seem believable
