most sites will at some point or another send out free money to targeted accounts sometime after they were created - the poker rooms will all use different criterion for dishing this out

like inactive for x weeks / months

deposited x time ago

never deposited but plays freerolls

all sorts of reasons - there isnt really a way to second guess this so its pretty much pot luck as they will spend their money as they see fit aiming to get players active on their sites or to re-deposit etc

Sorry ,yes I have had some poker rooms offer me money to come back if i havent played for awhile. I just thought he meant , he was still playing there everyday and was waiting for them to give him more money lol.

i just got 5 from carbon poker the other day but i deposit there a lot. no ther rooms have given me any free money except the new sites they give out 5 or 10 to everyone to try out.

I don't pretend to know why, but I manage to get sent $5 from PokerStars every couple months.....guess its random?

I've been with PS for a couple years now and the only thing I get from them is the offers to add on to any deposits I would make there.

McNutters if you're trying to get money for the site, best thing to do is enter the freerolls at PS and try to add to your BR that way. Besides the private freerolls they also have the hubble and a few similar ones where the top 88 or 99 get an entry into a $2000 freeroll later in the week. Also if you can $0.10 in your acct. from freerolling, enter the 10 cent games they hold.

Well I really don't know about this but what I do know is they sent me $5 about two weeks ago...and a friend just told me yesterday that they gave him $5 yesterday also..by 8pm last night his 5 was gone...so they do send money and neither one of us every deposited there..yet

I have earned 23 PP with my $5...from playing s&g and I won $10 on that five...but mine is gone now too...

I too have gotten a few freebeis at stars, it seems it always happens after i play in a tourney or 2 there, I really dont play there much so "throw me a bone" I will paly is there idea, This also has happened at AP for about 40 or 50 bucks worth,but was all after I played only at 24/7, so iam sure that will stop now they have merged.
