Default aces

why are aces not a good winning hand. Many times I have had aces and lost I just don't understand.

Default Playing Pocket Aces correctly

hi

you might find these threads useful ...

AA cracked

pocket aces

AA vs KK , or else ?

generally although everyone who has had aces cracked will post Bad beat stories - if you play aces correctly over time they should be the monster hands that they actually are

have a look at your strategy for playing them - control the table not the other way round - dont go to the flop facing more than one opponent and generally you will be in good shape

but bad beats will happen remember - and 80% favourite still means 20% of the time it will go a** up - if that time you put all your money in and the other 80% you played it for less then it will a net less profitable hand or show a loss overall

also remember if you loose and then change this strategy and slow play it you will almost certainly loose again - thus inforcing the idea that aces are not a great hand to play

cheers scrawnybob

Indeed if you play them correctly, you'll have more chance that they'll win, use them in an aggressive manner and don't try to slow play them everytime.

Totally agree. Play them aggressive. You will win more than you lose.

come on who wouldnt want aa dealt to them? most people i seen lose with them is because of trying to slow play them and end up letting people see to many cards for cheap.......make them pay to fish.
