When you have a good day, milk it for all it's worth...

Not sure how to put it, but your mind are filled with emotions, and when you either lose or wins your state of mind gets affected.
You say you are in a good streak because your cards are just hitting, but it is also because you make better decisions, you do that extra raise, or you call that 3rd pair on your table because you sense a bluff on his side
And when you have a bad streak, you just seem to do the wrong moves, that obvious fold when you have two pairs and 3 other people fight with str8, flush or trips, and you just keep on calling and losing.
In my opinion, when you do some clear mistakes it is usually a reason, you are either down, tired or just on tilt. Or maybe bad luck too, but that happens. Then my advice is Take a LONG break, and get your mood back!

I know exactly what you're talking about, Denny. These days seem to run in 2-3 for me. Last weekend I couldn't get a card above a 5, I swear. When I'm having those days and I still want to play, I try to stick to freerolls so I don't lose my bankroll. Ususally things turn around in a day or so. Hang in there

lol, yep we all have those streaks. the key is winning more on your winning days than losing on your losing days.
if you are a player at some level of experience and you play everyday, you should know/expect these things to happen, and you should win more than you'll lose when the right cards come.
We all have these days, my suggestion is play micro games and freerolls just to steam off if your losing anywayz why not lose in a freeroll .
Keep us posted about your games , would love to hear more from your winning steaks , how they went , which hands you played, hand histories stuff would be informative for all players .
I have them. If you can sit through it, It might turn and then you can't lose. I've been in many tournaments that suddenly turn and I get a payout after cursing at the computer. Like it's the computers fault I can't play...lol
Bad days can turn into good days! just dont let your mind affect the game by your winning and losing streak that day...just gotta say theres another hand when u lose because if ur thinkin ur gonna lose your gonna make bad plays! i say play it out but lower limits then usual until your confidence comes back
You know they say psychology is your own worst enemy. I seriously think that has a major effefct on the way you play. My external bad days have gotten me into holes and my great happy days are certainly good for poker business.
I'd have to say when you are pissed off or having a bad day, its not the best time to play. You may want to even a score and try crazy things at the table. I would also recommend not drinking 2 bottles of red wine before a tourney, believe me you don't play as well. lol
