suited connectors

I've come up to this alot of times. I'll have suited connectors, and someone will call any of my bets with pocket queens. Half the time I win, half I lose, almost exactly. Anyone got any advise on if I should give up the suited connectors?

i personally luv suited connectors...wheather you should abandon them or not really depends on what they are/how the table is playin/ ur position/what is on the board/// i guess it depends on alot of things....lol

I like them if I get to look at a cheap flop - and dump 'em quick if I don't improve. If you win half the pots playing them - then keep playing them!

You can't give up on them, but it's better to play them on the button or small blind and of course big blind if nobody raised. But the best position is small blind if the players limped early and the big blind didn't raise. Suited connectors can create accidents or get terrible beats too but that's poker.

It's always good to have a flush draw or str8 draw on the flop.'

i think it depends on the flop if you need to give it up or not, in my experience there were times that i gave up my hand and it was supposed to be a winner and there were times that i needed to give up and didnt and lost , you cant tell if your going to win or lose so if you will just give it up i think you should not call from the start and just fold but if you want to call you should go all the way when there's a chance to win.

i have no idea, i love suited connectors but seem to run into some trouble when i play them, well taht all depends on how the table has been playin as well,

I like to play suited conectors when i can afford to depending on raises and circumstance. If they hit or you get pot odds for a draw and hit you will win big. If they miss dump em quick and don't get suckered into a chase.
