I dont want to be rude or anything , but since when do you go all in with AK ? maybe short stacked , or you know the other guy has nothing special ok , but i dont see allen cunningham picking up ak and then shoving it all in ?
Dont give advice , omg , sorry if im rude , but omg ..
Real money - Tournaments - SNG
AK , position late , raise 4x bb, 20 to 80 - ( first to act ) : limp .
Short stacked - all in .
Ofcourse this can be different like raise atleast 90 ..
AK - play money - freeroll
Shove it in ..
Omg . sorry again if im rude , but your advice is like no advice at all .

Here's the thing, if you cant spot the sucker the first half hour of the game, you are the sucker.
This advice is only appropriate if you have no clue how to play - and I'm not exaggerating or kidding. It's part of a strategy put forward by I think David Sklansky, perhaps the leading poker theorist, for someone who who has never played before.
So, if you actually believe your own advice, it doesn't say much for your game. And if you don't believe it, then why post it?
If you want out of a tournament, go allin on AK. Rarely works for me. I know it's a good starting hand, but I'm not playing 2 card poker. Usually, I try and fish in somebody if the flop is good for me....imo
I like that "if u want out of a tournament go all in with AK" lol
it is a positional hand for me, and i always remember its NOT a made hand. But if I was going to push all in, I'd at least wait till they are suited.lol
I don't know if I agree completely. AK is a strong hand but only if it hits. I think it needs to be played differently depending on the situation. For example, its for sure an all in if your getting short.
I just come from another thread like this lol. AK(slightly better sooted) is a strong starting hand, but still a drawing hand. If re-raised big you can throw it away lol........
