AK is good to be aggressive with preflop but be leary of any reraise or large bet postflop. As great as this hand is, it's still a mere drawing hand that can easily be outdrawn if it doesn't hit the flop. Play this hand carefully and don't hope ace high will win a monster pot postflop.

AK is one of my least favorite hands. Preflop is okay with a raise, but most people that call a large raise will have mid to good pocket pairs, suited connectors, things like that. I just find it hard to balance between a good raise that won't scare everyone, but enough to get the small hands out that may destroy you on the flop. Seems like whenever I play it, another person goings in with AJ or something and pairs a lower card =/
