Default Limit Players?

Would any of the limit players on here be willing to chat with me on the specifics of the game? I've played NL my whole life (learned NL from watching TV when I was 16 and fine tuned it over the past 5 years), but I think there is good money to be made at limit tables.

Thanks guys.

Default different approach

hi

I'm sure there are some regular limit players in the forum

Personally I dont get on well with playing limit games, but that is just a personal thing - the approach with Limit is different to NL - others will be able to flesh out thoughts but ...

NL is a potentially more creative game because you can put players to the test with more flexibility of betting sizes - so more bluffing, betting for value, stealing / semi bluffs and maximising the returns from you monster hands

Limit is much more mathmatical - your implied odds / pot odds in fact everything are very very calulatable so if you are a methodical player who works purely rationally their is very much more a right and wrong move as you bets are fixed and predictable

hope thats a start
cheers scrawnybob

Limit games are definitely more about math. But I do find them quite interesting... It's a nice way to make sizeable bets without scaring your opponents away from the hand before you win some good amount of money. It can be pretty interesting.

I find myself playing more limit games at the ring tables. I do think there is a lot different the NL holdem with trying too calculate odds and outs. You can't bluff someone out a pot and there are many more chasers.
