I called them and she ran through the hand...
The short stack (that pushed his $3 in) would have lost, and the other guy in the hand had the other aces, and we would have chopped it... We would have each made just over $2 after splitting the pot...
I'm still pissed... not so much that I lost a few bucks, but because of the situation... I'm waiting on bodog's return phone call to see what they'll do about it...

i wouldn't be satisfied sayin you and the other guy would have chopped it....u could have hit a flush....in the same instance he could have hit a flush also.....i saw it happen just the other day at a table

I heard that it was a chop from the lady on the phone, and I guess I've got to trust her, as she can see everyone's cards, and I can't (Wish I could, though)...
Turn that spotlight off, software works much better then...

just had a look at your stats in your blog and it looks like your doing ok at Bodog overall
"I gambled a total of $697.30, and won back $864.84 ( +$167.54 ) at Bodog"
and aces have won through for you there 12 times out of 17
overall I think you'd mentioned aces had won for you 19 times out of 25 which is about 76% ... not far off the 80% probability would suggest
the Bodog aces stats seem to be around 70% but overall your ahead at Bodog so they seem to working out pretty well for you overall ... always going to get the odd crazy hand
I remember getting all-in with AA preflop for a fair bit of money and then seeing the other guy had AA ... he then won getting 4 more suited for the flush
Anyway ... this was a technical issue which is different to a bad beat but I'm pretty sure that if you keep contacting support (politely) then they will come through for you ... I would definately send them the screenshot
I've also had drop outs happen at several different sites ... It does happen sometimes its the site, sometimes the connection ... it's a bit of an occupational risk with doing things online ... but keep in touch with support as I think they should come through
cheers scrawnybob

A different situation for me for sure,.. but just a comment re:Fulltilt and one night last month when my internet connection went down for over 3hrs.
I had made plans for a couple days to enter into 3 different Mtt's at the same time, one's I'd done well in previously.
So.. I'm all pumped up, just ate, have the coffee on and have optimistically set some sandwiches aside (have done the bowl of cereal thing too many times). Less than 10mins. into to all three, I get disconnected. I try to log in.. no luck. I phone a friend,.. his is down too. I call up my internet provider,.. (24-7 service),.. no answer,.. not even an answering voicemail putting me on hold??
Okay,.. so I realize that this is my fault (or my internet provider's). I decide to email Fulltilt support the following day, a bit of whining but with absolutely no expectations attached. I also asked them, "Hey,.. what if this was a $100 buy-in?" (it wasn't...lol).
They actually re-imbursed my account with all three buy-ins!!
I wasn't as fortunate on PokerStars one day. My connection went down while on a cash table,.. didn't go back on for an hour and a half and when I checked out my hand histories, I missed it by 22mins. I had blinded out on a cash table,.. grrrr..... Now that sucked!! I never take more than 3% of my bankroll onto a table, so wasn't so bad really... but still,... I could've at least put it allin on a coinflip, lol.
Bob... You're right, I am doing good there overall... And the way the last guy sounded on the phone, it sounds like they're going to reimburse me $9 for the hand, so they're definitely trying to help out... I was just extremely pissed at the moment, because I've been having a bad run for a few days and finally had a decent money making opportunity...
Poker Orifice... I can't believe full tilt paid you back for those buy-ins, that's awesome... I've been trying to load some money into my account there, but it's a pain in the neck if you're a US player...
Thats pretty crzy keith,i cant believe u guys got reimbursed,i remember about 6 months ago at cake poker i have $100 at a cash table,, and i had poc kk and the flop was a-k-k i bet $20 into a $65 pot, and got reraised allin,, and i got timed out do to the server connection,, so i lost,,after 10 mins when i got back i found out through the players and hand history my opponent only had poc jj.so i woulda won a huge pot,, i contacted support ,they investigated and said their server was fine,,and it musta been my isp and they DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME,, Talk about being pissed! so its good to hear there are sum GOOD sites left
