Here in tampa the bad beat jackpot (last time I was there) was hovering at $200,000 ...
50% of it goes to the loser of the hand
25% goes to the winner of the hand
And all the remaining players that played that hand split the other 25%...

Man, I wish I was at a table that had the hand you were complaining about, haha!
