I would like to get your opinion on having pocket 2-2s & 3-3s dealt to you. I've found that 95% of the time when I get 2-2s Im better off folding them than wasteing my bet or blind. Now pocket 3-3s Im not sure what to do with this hand. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
IMO there both rubbish, throw them in the muck, you are never more than 50/50
It depends.if you're in late position and it is folded to you,you might wanna raise..depends on the tournament phase...or the type of players from the table. You dont wanna mess with 22 vs. aggresive players with 2 overcards. Now pocket 33s are not so different than pocket 2s.I play 2s the same I play 3s.
For the longest time I never played anything below pocket 6s. I then read somewhere that even if you have a low pocket pair, in a table of six, there is a good chance that if you raise pre-flop, half will fold the other half will call with thier Q10s and AQs, AKs. You still have a head start by having a pair vs nothing. If ladyluck smiles at you, your chances are pretty good of hitting trips on the flop. It also has alot to do with how you feel about playing that hand. Every single time I folded pocket 2s, the other 2 were on the board. But then I've played them and you know, win some, lose some. It's all in your instinct. Hope this helps...
Thanks for the feedback, That definitly puts a whole new perspevtive to those situation's. I'll give those reply's a try next time I come up against them. That certainly makes me think about it.

This is what I've been doing lately, and from what I've found my returns have been a lot better. Too many times I found myself trying to press more often than I should, even against unraised pots, which ended up with me in a situation where I'm giving out more and more money.
