clear bodog-bonus ?

Hello,

i wanna make a deposit of $100 at bodog.

my question is how to clear the bonus ?
what kind of limit should i play?

just downloaded the beta:
- Resizable game play windows
- Embedded chat and game details
and i think with these new features, im ready to start at bodog

this is a general comment (not specific to bodog) ... you should always choose bonuses relative to your bankroll

and always give bankroll management your priority NOT desperation to clear a bonus

if a site offers a choice of bonuses - and you deposting $50 then dont go for the massive bonus and vice versa - alot of bonuses pay in one chunk so you want to be realistic about clearing it, others payout in chunks along the way which is generally better for a lower deposit and lower hours player

they are generally based on the rake or points you earn (still based on rake) - so you would be better off playing cash games and building up the hours

some will suggest playing limit games and grinding - I would suggest if your stronger game is NL then just do what you know and put in the hours and play steady

again bankroll management is more important - you will in all probability make more playing well and winning from other players than focussing purely on the bonus

think of the bonus as a bonus - if your playing multiple sites then obviously when you in a bonus clearing period spend all your time at the site until you have cleared the total bonus or worked through all the chunks available - but again concentrate on a winning sensible game

do not think ... I need to clear this and move up two levels and commit all your bankroll ... this isnt a route to clearing a bonus quickly ... this is a route to losing all your bankroll and having to redeposit

so if your depositing $100 ideally you want to be playing with $5 of you bankroll at anytime (you could risk playing $10 at a table) but I would take it steady ...

BTW you should have 10% of your bonus coming instantly which is a nice start ... the bodog bonus 10% instant is the same as before now with the addition of 100% bonus to work off based on your play ... thats a nice mix IMHO

we'll be having more games at Bodog in the new US Open league too

Yep I much prefer the gradual release bonuses as you definately get them as you earn them - with the one lump ones I think you need to plan and focus on that site and make sure your on track to clear it all within the time limit (if there is one) - the lump ones are ok if they have no expiry on them but the bit one are better for most people
