who hearv plays the rounders radio freeroll on carbon poker is stupid because it pays $60 to only first place when it could pay top 10 i would like to hear opinions on this

yea these winner takes all are difficult, u start with 1k and most the player really dont expext to win so they push on junk... i did manage to win 1 but was not successfull in the 20k

i agree i believe top 10 should get a payout. ive played in it b4 and ended up gettin second. and it was close but no cigar . i def agree with you though nice post maybe we should email them though.

I both agree and disagree. As much as I'd like to see the payouts spread out a bit more like other tourny's, when you are in it until the end (I was 2nd a couple of nights ago), the rush of getting a bigger pot is pretty cool. I lost to a river flush. Sucked! Anyway, I will continue to play them just for the excitement and the practice.

eh, yeah ppl play junk a lot on the free rolls, but like if u play smart, eventually it will pay dividends, those tourneys can really disappoint though, so dont get to attached.

I belive that you should pay out the top three. If you start paying out the top 10 the dollar amounts just drop too much. I think a 5-10-45 payout would be the best for all. Just like the olympics.

When you go up against so many players I'd much prefer more places paid to bigger top place finish. Besides, on many of these sites you can do a lot with a little so why not enjoy the 6 cent victory?

The deal is that the $60 is the buy-in to a bigger tourney, so it is a freeroll satellite. I would rather they paid at least the top 3 or the top 10. I personally do not play in them as there are too many donks pushing with junk early. I like to get a return on my time and playing a 2 or 3 hour tourney, finishing 2nd or 3rd and getting nothing does not fit into my game play. I would rather get $1 for 10th than nothing for 2nd... Do you get bodog points for playing in the game? I got 4 points yesterday at Bodog, and I only played a freeroll and a points buyin.
