Why limit yourself?
I noticed a lot of people say "I only play at Full Tilt,Poker Stars, etc." I was wondering why you limit yourself. It costs nothing to join a poker site and try something new. Anybody got any thoughts on this?
lol...i don't limit myself....i have just about every poker site open to players from the USA on my pc....lol...so why people limit theirselves is beyond me....lol

Yes, good post.
Its one of the great plus points of this forum, that it gives you a reason to try new sites allowing you to experience the features and gameplay of new card rooms.
People might limit themselves because thats where they feel most comfortable and that is only natural. I've my perrsonal favs but have enjoyed exploring through the forum as well. All i need now is the time to visit the ones I've enjoyed so far.
For me it is all about deposit/withdraw limitations. I primarily play on Pstars because of ease of deposit/withdraw (E-Checks) also on FTP. & Carbon poker Neither offer E-Checks. I don't like the idea of using 3rd party E-Wallets, since i know nothing about or trust the E-Wallet site itself. If more poker sites would implement E-Checks i would be on a lot more sites. Pstars is the only site that offers E-Checks. FTP. does but only for very exclusive players, Which is very unfair. All or nothing FTP.

Yep, agreed- I really appreciate that Bob finds plenty of different sites for us to play on...
I mainly play on carbon/poker.com because another forum that a belong to has a lot of tourneys on there, and I just got used to the software and now I prefer the software to any other sites. As a US player my choices are limited, and there are some sites I don't play on because of their wiithdrawl policies - mainly Absolute - I don't play on that 1 anymore because their policy is a MIN of $25 deposit, but a MIN of $50 withdrawl- which I'm sure works out great for them, but SUCKS for me, lol..
Good question. I hope to see more answers.
So far I've limited myself to Bodog and Carbon. I hesitate to sign up to more because I don't want to squander any new sign up bonuses. I have little time to play poker right now, but will later. The other side is I think I'm missing too many good opportunities. I like the private, low stakes, cash added games. It appears i need to become more flexible to find those.
Sometimes it's just hard to keep track of all the programs. and Too many poker games are way too overwhelming. I tend to concentrate on 1-3 games at most. I'm not so good at multitasking.
