ok something I just picked up in GT's July Quiz Questions thread ...

about the questions being too hard and googling the answers etc

I've said the "prize" for entering in the quizz (with a proper effort not just zero effort) is that those members that enter in one month get to play in a freeroll at Carbon in the following month

IMHO there is little point in setting up a game for less than 10 members ... which is why it's open to all those that enter the quiz ... rather than giving a prize for the monthly winner

so afaiks GT's view is that googling the answers is ok ... I agree (because there isnt much or a way to know if you have or havent ... this is about learning something new about poker and GT's questions certainly stretch the mind and poker knowledge ... which in itself is a good thing

when it comes down to picking out the actual 4kingpoker Brain 2008 ... that will be a decision made by GT and myself (if its ok with GT) ... and I think in the event of a tie etc we would be able to see who has googled and who hasnt.

The idea is for as many members to take part as possible and enjoy finding out more about poker ... so dont be shy, show us what you know ... taking part will get you a seat in the monthly quiz freeroll at Carbon Poker

GT let me know if this approach is ok for you as I know this is really your gig and I'm just putting up a bit of prize money

All the answers are not on Goggle AFAIK The idea is to Learn, ask if you dont know, and read poker magazines, Read Poker sites. If we just sit there reading this site and asking "how would play" type questions, or "I want to be a Pro" type questions, Life would be pretty boring, and 4kingpoker hit rate at the moment ( Because its an INTERESTING POKER SITE) is going through the ROOF.

The idea is to STRETCH and INCREASE our KNOWLEDGE and IMAGINATION, of the game we LOVE, Hands UP how many given the Opportunity given the chance Want to go check Out The Aviation Club in Paris or DTD in Nothingham, etc etc.

How many players dont know what a CTR is and 27% of all American's have been to Vegas!

AND Bob will give YOU a freeroll for trying!!!!!!! My God thats a good deal, No ones going to judge you on your quiz ability!
