Default Discuss US Open League III Games

hi all

this is just a general thread for discussions of the US Open League III Games

feel free to start lots of others if you like - but thought a bit of structure might be useful for discussing the league games - so there will be the one here for the US Open League III Games

and another to Discuss Non US League III Games

and another to Discuss FullTilt v PokerStars buy-in Games

obviously I'd hope the threads dont get spoilt by people who dont read rules etc and justing password / where are etc questions - they will be deleted (as they are generally as the rules are IMHO so damn obvious to find etc)

anyway over to you ...

cheers scrawnybob

Default Tonights Carbon Buyin

"oh no, don't say its true
i'm happy, hope you're happy too"

is that the way it goes(the song). sums it up for me.

Third game in a row, the gremlins have visited at Carbon. Too tired to be that concerned and I have to look bad sometimes I would just prefer it happen in the freerolls

Good luck all in the game.

I'm glad to be getting an early night.

Anyone else have connection problems or unexplainable events?

Well I got onto support re the problems I've been having.

The usual almost automated response came and was duly despatched back to them with my thoughts.

To give you a taste:

"As I write this I'm starting to get the sense that its a complete waste of time.
What is it next, radiation from the sun being scattered by sand particles from the
sahara?"

I wasn't impressed

I have to say thought that I got a more personalised response the next time and it might appear that I need to update my flash player. Well it sounds more reasonable than,

"We also strongly recommend removing any adware and spyware from your computer. These are a common problem with using the internet, and can slow down even the fastest computers enough to affect your connection latency."

You can only try.

Default Congratulations

Congrartulations to the placers in the game last night.

Was the winner egs500?

Nice one, always nice to get the first in the series under the belt.

Did the payout structure stay the same ie 3 for the 28 in.

Wow,thats some difference between this and the Titan game (10/20)

Well done all,

Congrats to the winners. Way to go Jacks! I went out 14. Hope I have better luck next time. It was a fun game with all the chat, although, it's hard to keep my mind on the game when I'm busy reading and typing. I don't multi task very well. Looking forward to Sunday's games. Hope to see you there!

well carbon paid 3 out of 28 roughly 1 in 10
titan paid 10 out of 20, half the field

Thats the difference. Not a grumble just something I noticed.

Default default settings for payout structure

hi

we go with the default payout structure at the sites that our the league game hosts - these will vary from one site to another

It's far from a precise science getting all the games up, scheduled and running correctly as it is - so trying to sort out non standard payout structures at all the sites - is juts asking for more trouble and missing tournaments / wrong prize pool / game type etc

hope that makes sense - so they will vary

cheers scrawnybob

cheers boss you are doing fairly more than enough, and off course the payout structure is not up to scrawnybob.

though its cuttier paying the top 10 (final table/ie league points scorers).
funny recieving 40$ in a 1.10$ buy-in game with 50$ added...
