i've got Qc&Qd so i triple the BB. i get one caller. the flop 4c, 5c, kc. he checks. i put out a value bet to see what he will do. he calls. the turn Ac.he bets big and i call knowing that i have the highest flush. oh boy i'm going to win this hand and improve my chip count. the river 6c. he goes all in and i'm like yes. i call and show my flush A, K, Q high. he shows 7&8c for a strait flush. only one card could have beat me and it did

Same thing has happened to me twice. Once in a tournament and once on a cash table. One other time I had the straight flush and was called by the Ace high.

You played this hand too passively. Your postflop plays areour table what cost you the pot. The value bet on the flop should have been about 2/3 to 3/4 of the pot. Going all-in on the turn would have been your best play.

I was in a tourney one day where I had the nut flush and lost half of my chips to straight flush. THEN the following hand I flopped a flush and pushed my remaining chips in only to be called by a guy that flops a royal flush.....first one I had seen online but it was in the wrong person's hands.

wow cant believe that but when u have a flush before the river and u kno its the highest u cant wait till the river cause than he has the chance to win and the chances of him having the Ac was very small and he wouldnt have called because he didnt have the str8 flush yet
