VIP HORSE game - congratulations to treebor

hi all

just wanted to say congratulations to Trebor for winning the VIP HORSE game we had at carbon

really enjoyed it and lasted well to be honest alot longer than I expected (coming 3rd) - Nice one MsClawdy for coming in 2nd too BTW

It made a nice (hopefully) change for all of us as I dont think I was the only one in the razz rounds repeatedly saying in my head "if its not really sh*t it doesn't win" only to be looking at something that looked really sh*t but not convinced it was bad enough to lose ... I mean win

I must apolgise for some of my lucky hands ... but I had figured that I'd won hands more often than I fluked them with no clue I was ahead ... honest ;-)

it was fun ... hope we can get more for the next game as there are at least 50 members eleigible for the VIP games (2 month+ members with over 50 posts) so the 16 entries was a little low ... hope we can get more eligible and more playing in next months NL holdem game ($1 buy-in $50 added at Carbon)

As those that play know I dont make too much drama out of the VIP games as we want them to be as intended - but it would be great if we could get more VIP's

it was a fun game for as long as i lasted and showin up a lil late....deffinatly could have done better had i realized it was a 7card hand we were playin...and i was bettin it and playin it like a razz hand.....lol....but i would have won had it been a razz hand.....lol.....nice game bob clawdy and trebor......wish we could get clawdy in more league games since she is on the team....and by the way....who is trebor?????

I wish I could say I enjoyed the game, but I went out so fast I'm not even sure I played. No, seriously, it was fun. I like horse and usually I do pretty good at the Razz game, but I just couldn't get the cards. Kept getting second best. I stink at Omaha 8 and all the rest, so I hung in there as long as I could. I do enjoy HORSE though and hope we can have more. Congrats to the winners!

lol, didn't get as far as the razz..donked out in 11 hands..willing to try again though ...much more fun than holdem ad infinitum.

yep the "VIP" bit was a while back - pretty much the key elements of it was

a) a HORSE game rather than just NLTH game

b) $5 buy-in

so the VIP bit in terms of posting requirement isnt there anymore as it seems that by making it a HORSE game and a $5 we narrow the field right down - so all 10+ post members are eligible to play if they want to

the "VIP" bit tends to happen on its own by virtue of the other factors

this season ones will be at FullTilt poker btw as I dont really get enough pokerstars signups to cover the costs of running the games there ;-)
