cant see cards

hey guys im new to cash games and have noticed something that seems strange to me. i cant ever see what the other person has. i understand of course the concept of mucking cards, but even if we are all in and in a race i never see what the other person has unless i lose. witch for some reason makes the race terrible. i mean its like you put your money in and hope you made a good call, but then you just close your eyes and hope the chips come your way!! its like you go in after the flop with two top pair. you think you've got it and in the end find out he has a pocket pair and flopped a set. though nothing changes by seeing the cards it sucks not knowing where you stand when you just put a few dollars in the pot. so im wondering if this is just a cash game thing(meaning i need to just get used to it) or if this is maybe starnge to the site ive been playing?? thx

Be careful on Rosso they do not have a good reputation.

They claim to be in the Curacao Internet Gaming Association (CIGA) (CIGA) that companies
CIGA's sites members area is "coming soon"
CIGA's "members list" and does not list RossoPoker as a member
CIGA as an internet company they do not have a visible email for contact!!!
If they are in fact a member, RossoPoker is afoul of many of the guidelines GIGA's "charter" lists
Their bank of record the Bank of Valetta (BOV) says the are "investigating" but will not confirm or deny Rossopoker as a client due to "security concerns"
Apparently at the request of Price Waterhouse Coopers to remove their logo from the RossoPoker website within 24 hours - they have complied (something they would not do if they were in fact a client of that prestigious company. They have removed all external company "associates" logos from their website as of my last check which was at 12:36PM EST - 7/25/08

Yeah, I don't like how some sites do this either. Sometimes you can go to Last hand history on the table and be able to see how the hand was played out and see the cards that the all in people or people who played through river had.
