how do i get the stars?!

hi,

im a very mad person right now!

some people say that (online) poker is closer to "lucky poker" than to the percentage of 30%luck and 70% skill as it should be.

those who attended live games in casinos know, that if you're leading on the turn then your'e probably win on the river by a higher percentade than online (yep- the online bad beats).

right now, i dont really care about all that.

all i want to know is how/when the heck do i get my stars on carbon poker.

there are players there - "gameholics" who play there everyday against the same players in about 60% and recently my bankroll, slow but steady built bankroll there, allowes me to invest about 3$ bucks a day in order to fullfill my ROI about every single day, exactly as all those gameholics who also play everyday without saturdays and holidays..

but all of them, even the players on the lowest stakes games, somehow recieve those stars (gold,silver or bronze) and i was told that "if you play for long enough" then i'll get them.
so im playing every made by god day there on mtts, sngs, and rngs but all i can see, is this poor green ribbon of the 50$ freeroll winner and thats it!!!!! DOH!!!!

someone please tell me what the heck is wrong?! is there a way of maybe buying them?! what does it take for a player to get his 1/2 star on his avatar?!

im not asking for much you know.....

i've been there, playing and winning those tournaments, those sitandgoes and those cash tables!!!!

what else do you need?! please tell me

That green ribbon is hard to get! haha
you get it by playing cash tables
there are two diff strars. the stars you get on real cash tables and the play money stars.

you will get them eventually if you play enough cash games.

only cash games? no cash tournaments? what is half a star? what is the difference between the colors?

if you don't have the stars yet then you're just not playing enough. im not sure if you get them for tourney's but i play cash tables there and i have them. you start with a half a bronze and when you get up to 3 bronze you move up to a half a silver and you keep going until you have 3 gold. so keep playing.

cant be man. from what i was told, the bronze are for play money. and i do play there everyfucking living day!!! and im tilting.

i know at least two players who started the same month as me - i know them for sure from thenewplayer freeroll. you recieve the coupon for a month so thats how i know. and they both have half gold star. and i never seen any other stars on their names so thats why it cant be true.

i guess ill just send an email for their support and ask them once and for all.

sorry for my language today. i'm just tilting and damn mad at the donks on carbon.

its like this stars you earn faster in ring table for hands you win at that 1 seat (if u sat there and won X amount of hands in 1 hour more than u lost then that would go towards a percentage of building your half star). colours bronze silver gold just working your way up really is all it means.. then you get to tripple gold star and then what... 50k avatar thats what lol...

if you try doing it in only tours like mtt's and sng's it would take for ever to get a half star and i mean for ever...

lol it took me 2 weeks solid everday on ring to get 2 silver stars but once again it all depends on your wins...oh i would play 4 or 5 tables at once though.. and yes i came from the freeerolls never deposited (something to think about)

stars are just a gimmic the way i see it.. and sometimes a disadvantage.. when people know your a real player and sometimes not... some players like to look pretty with those stars...and green donkey ribbons lol... i used to turn them all off... but prehaps for something bigger like the 50k or summer series and chairty i would of turned em on.. but there ya have it in a nut shell...


oh i thought about this and since i dont play there anymore (but am beginning to miss my friends there and im thinking of reinstalling pdc) here ya go for all of you who do'nt have a star or any real money... i found out for myself this... if your very patient


play lots and lots and lots of funsteps play (50-100) it doesnt matter if its step1 or 2 or 3... as long as you win alot of hands.. not so much win all of the games but hands but hey it helps if ya win them right??... you'll see what happens have fun

if you're refering to the lil star at the top of ur avatar.....the ones that have stars are people that signed up thru pokerstars.net....the ones with no stars signed up thru pokerstars.com

I play tournaments only and it has taken me about a year to get 3 bronze stars. They are nice...but I'll trade them for that ribbon...gl 2u...try to un-tilt and have fun.

thank you guys. if it's cash tables so be it. ill play for cash. you right im playing only tournaments, but stars do mean something to me. oh, and i do have the green ribbon.

i'm in the middle of "rounders" now, teddy k.g.b is a killer with his language but i will join you for tonights freeroll.
