Carbon SOUND Question

As recommended here I've joined Carbon.com.
Compared to Bodog, the graphics are clearly superior. You can expand full screen.
What's missing at Carbon is a clearly audible sound when it's my turn. How do you make dinner, pay bills, read the paper and so on when there's not an attention grabber when it's my turn? Am I missing a setting ?

There is a short sound when your turn comes and when the countdown timer starts there another pretty annoying sound... They are automatically enabled so you should hear them without any additional settings.

That is true of Carbon. My other room, Bodog, does so much better with sound. You can specify events for sound yes/no. Bodog is superior for multitasking. Sounds bring you back with each new dealt hand.
