    Default Pocket AA's

Pocket Rockets, American Airlines, No matter which name you prefer it is the most desired starting hand in the game. But don’t plan on seeing it too frequently. There are 1326 two cards combinations that can be made from a 52 card deck and there are 6 combinations for each pocket pair. 1326/6 = 221 so your odds of being dealt pocket aces, or any other pocket pair, are 220 to 1.

Where do you get your information WolfDex?????? You say "or any other pocket pair, are 220 to 1." Give me a break. You do not know what you are talking about. Looks like to me you found a quote somewhere and decided to post it as "your own".

    2-Aces 220:1
    2-Kings through 2-Jacks: 72.7:1
    2-Tens through 2-Sixes: 43.2: 1
    2-Fives through 2-Deuces: 54.3:1

I mean, I think Dex was saying that individually the probability of getting any pair is 220:1... which if you agree AA is 220:1 then you'd agree that 22 is the same, as is 77 and so on... So Dex wasn't incorrect. Now, whether that was a quote from somewhere else, i say odds are significantly better

Actually, that depends how many people is in the game.
And is the same posibility to get the aces and to get duces, becouse is only 2 simples cards, we're not talking about the value of them

    Thumbs up

    1. AA v ?? ( any random hand) = 85% chance of winning excluding the other AA

    2. 220 to 1 is the chances of being deal AA.

    3. Any Random Hand has a 40%+ chance of winning any given random hand in holdem.

    4. If YOU go all in with AA pre flop you are reducing the value of AA to 40%+ the same as 7 2 off, and technically that makes it a bit of a coin flip.

    5. The Best hand to bust AA is any suited mid connector, hoping you hit a open ended sT8 draw on the flop.

    6. The chances of hitting a sT8 draw or a inside sT8 draw ( ie some sort of sT8 draw by the turn are 3 to 1(ish)

    7. It's not about starting hands, It's about Starting hand in relationship to your starting position, in relarelationship of amount of chip stack

    ie: SH+P+CS= + or - EV= Out Come.

in short "The More chips you have the poorer the starting hands you can call in a late position" !

I estimate there is a 20% ( 5 to 1) "LUCK" factor in any given hand regardless of starting hand strength.

    Enjoy

Just because you have AA it dosnt mean you are going to win the hand, if you are going to get into spending more than 25% of your chip stack with in ten places of the money you should NOT play them ( David Sklansky)

    I agree with him.

I like to play the strong before the flop to limit the number of people calling.

Be honest how many times you folded AA? I doubt you do it very offten.
