was plaing in a tourney, was about to go out in fourth untill this happened



ended up coming in second, so it didnt go to waste

Ahh... very nice!
I had something somewhat similiar (although I wasn't about to go out.. umm.. yah I guess I was??).
I was playing HeadsUp sng-style format and was deal 8d-Td.
I actually called a min-raise preflop (I like the way a hand like this can at times hit the flop nicely and disguised) and then the flop came two diamonds.
He checked, I bet.. he called.
Turn came another diamond (Kd). He checked and I bet out (instead of just checking, I wanted to act as if I was protecting a made hand like TPGK). Kd actually gave him top pr. and a flush draw higher than my made flush.
When I bet out 2/3 pot, he min re-raised me so I shoved allin,... he insta-called.
River... .another diamond.... groan...... BUT it actually completed a straight flush for me.. BOOM.. game over I win, hee hee. Kinda felt a bit like justice although there was no way he was getting away from his hand there.
