Why did my fellow 4king'er say this to me?

Was my competitor(GOIVIT) trying to;
1) get under my skin
2) just having a laugh
or
3) was he honestly mistaken about the way the hand played out..

Pokertoker, you flopped top pair (QQ) so you did not need the flush at that point, the flush was a bonus to you. Sounds like GOIVIT was bluffing and got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and was just angry.
I think i seen Phil (the poker brat) Hellmuth act like this before, more than once i'm sure.
Dont worry about players that say stupid crap like this. Its just showing poor sportsmanship on there part.

looking at it I'm guessing that if GOIVIT "flopped top pair) it was either with a decent kicker like an ace or maybe flop top 2 pair

anyway I dont really see anything wrong with the way you played the hand

on the flop you made top pair

on the turn you actually had a straight AND a flush draw

not sure GOIVIT was really venting that badly - Ive seen a hell of alot worse

Yeah it does appear to be that way. Its not like the OP called a PFR or anything. He called min bets along the way.....I see nothing wrong with this play........

Seems to me he was just mad he didn't realize you had a pair of queens after the flop. Nothing wrong with your play. Some people just get mad when they realize they didn't win the hand, then they get ugly. Not good sportsmanship, but that comes with online poker. You handled it very well and shut him up at the same time. Nice going!

Not 1 or 2, closer to 3. I thought I had flopped 2 pair, my mistake. Sorry.

1) I'm puzzled why he'd bet the river with a weak hand (or a marginal one at best). This is a common error of rookies (not saying you're a rookie). Perhaps it was a defensive blocker bet (he was trying to price the river... betting out what he figured he'd be willing to call.. instead of checking and then having to face the decision of calling a larger bet). I think not though.

2) Having put out a bet with a weak holding, I'm also confused as to why he'd call the raise on the river?? Puzzling.... Then again I watch much more puzzling stuff than that - - ie. min. re-raising wars on the river, where someone is actually min reraising another player who is holding the nuts..... hello... a min reraise on the river is very often an indication that said opponent is holding the nuts
