Hi Guys,

When you are playing in a holdem game and you are plaing Tight Aggressive ( TAG)

What Starting Hands do you consider playing?

I play in position:

AK,AQ, Any Pair.

I play Out of position AA,KK,QQ,JJ,1010, and 57 suited UTG.

It very much depends on whats going on around me and if it's cash or tournament. I don't ever restrict myself to a set amount of hands to play because your play becomes to predictable.

But generally it will be broadway cards and decent pairs some suited connectors and 72 off for a laugh.

If I win the 72 off I always show

Laff's Thats what I play when I am playing LAG roflolol, I must be playing to tight!

I normally squeak when I'm playing cash games I'm so tight, but like most poker player i rarely tell the truth about what I'm playing

A,Q while being BB,It feels like I'll be winning with it.

AK and AQ are drawing hands, whereas a pocket pair is a made hand. I took somebody out of the Bodog freeroll last night, he went all-in with AK and I called with 33 - and won!

I was chipleader of the tournament at that point, with quarter of a million chips, so I felt it was worth the gamble.

Starting hands.. hmmmmmm pocket pairs above 77 and suited high connectors seems to do the trick for me always and learn to fold when you think your behind
