    This is an easy shove pre flop.

    With the pot at 4k and your stack at just over 10k you should not be raising here just get all your chips in.

    I suspect that 22 may have called you anyway! but thats poker.

    I agree with Jonny that it would probably be best to shove all-in preflop here. A general rule of thumb is that if 40%+ of your stack is in the middle of the table, then you are pot-committed. In this case, you have over 40% of your chips in the middle. Are you going to fold to a re-raise? If the answer is no, then why not put all your chips in there to start with?

    HOWEVER, I believe that's all moot in this scenario because that 2-2 is going all-in regardless of what you do. He's got a short stack and is most likely hoping to win a coin flip to get back into the game. In other words, I don't feel you did anything wrong in this scenario, but in the future you may just want to push it all-in if a normal raise would leave you pot-committed anyways.

    seriously, you have less than 10BB, right? autoshove, be happy to be called by 22 and hope you double up.
