Default Dealt A 3 clubs.... first to act

    18 man tournament -- 14 left -- blinds at 25/50.

    SB has 2950
    BB has 1880
    ME had 1420 and A3 -- I limp for 50
    Folds
    Pushes 520
    Seat Open
    Folds
    Seat Open
    Button folds.
    SB folds.
    BB calls.

470 to me and 1115 in pot.

I decide to save chips and fold. It is safe play against A better kick and pocket pair.

Pusher has KJ and BB has QQ. So decent laydown.

    The board -- 9 A A 8 A

    Oh well!!!!!! LOL

I wouldn't have limped for 50 if I was UTG, I would have folded. At the end of the day ace rag is ace rag, and being suited doesn't make it much better.

My thoughts on A-rag suited is this: if you can see a cheap flop with multiple people in the pot, then it's worth it. Otherwise, chuck it. Obviously you're playing the cards for a chance at a nut flush, not to hit top pair with. In this particular case, I probably would have done the same as you, but 50 chips is about the MAX (in this scenario) that I would commit to with A-rag suited. Although with anything else in poker, your decision should be adjusted based on the situation. If there are a lot of aggressive people at your table and pretty much every pot gets raised pre-flop, then you probably want to muck your A-rag suited while UTG. If you're at a table that's very passive with lots of callers but few raisers, then you DEFINITELY want to limp with any suited ace.

i really hate limping with anything. if you wanted to raise this hand preflop, i'd be ok with it, but i wouldn't love it.

    mostly, i'd fold.
