Curious what you would do

Early in 2-table (6-max) tournament. Blinds at 10/20. All 12 people left and top 3 paid. You are chip leader and dealt 8 8.

I raised to 80.
Short stack behind me pushes 670.
Fold.
Call.
Fold.
Back to me. I have about 2000 chips.

Too early to have much of a read, but do know.

All-in is playing about 30% of hands so far and never pre-flop riased.
Caller has played 80% of the hands so far and rarely raises but will call raises. He also has another 600 behind the line left.

Curious what others do here.

i would fold. best case you are up against a lower pair. but even if he has TJs, its a coin flip. and if, like you said, he's limped a lot and not raised, it screams beware.

fold and continue to play the same so when you have AA and do this, you catch him.
