Default Was this the right way to play AA

I had my Aces hold up in this hand but was my play correct. I belive I read the other players right that they hit the flop but not in a big way making my AAs almost a sure thing barring a suck out. The button raising all in gave me a moments doubt but I'd already committed over a third of my stack and if I wasn't going to call an allin I shouldn't have raisedafter the flop.

I am surprise that your AA hold with 6 players there in the start

LOL with J-4 guy, but i guess with so many chips he don't care.

When read the hand, after flop was expecting that some one have a J-Q and hit 2 pairs, or JJ-QQ-99 for trips, even a KK, A-Q, AJ, K-Q, maybe one with bad cards but not all

can't believe that all pay the push with crap hands with so many people in there, draws, middle pairs, top pairs with weak kicker, etc.

I guess this $3 buy-ins in stars are like freerolls in any other place.

With that table is not much choice, maybe raise a little more pre flop, but i guess all will pay still, maybe i will push Preflop and pray.

Very nice pot, 15,000 chips, hope that you ending win it.

I must admit with so many callers I expected the worst but AA is very hard to fold.

As to winning I'm afraid that was the only decent pair I had and I had to make a few plays later on and got caught out.

You have to be very patient on PS in these micro tournements and I'm still not quite patient enough. Once you get in the money they can be decent games.

AA is tough and I rarely if ever limp them. A raise is good. Against a large field push and hope to thin it.

Your question: Did you play right? From the info you shared, if you table was loose and was going to get a lot of callers, I would have raised more pre-flop. Post flop, why make a pot sized bet if you were going to call a re-raise all-in and a caller in front of you? If you are going to put your chips in make the other people have to decide whether or not to call. If the 1000 bet was a probe because you thought you might be against a straight or two-pair, with the two bets made you should have laid it down OR pushed in first. Just my thoughts though and always easier to say after the hand is over and the cards are seen.

I,d be thankful those the AA,s held up.That was one scary flop. The player with Ace-10 Spades had so many OUTS and the best hand.It is the EURO style to push ALL IN with a NUT flush draw and try to take it down right there and still have such a good chance to win if called. The Nut flush draw and open ended str8 draw. Can,t fault that call.I have played those $3 .. S & G,s and I,d bet 1/2 my stack preflop at least or you will get 6 callers like that. And i never have luck at P.STARS as i always get sukked out there.
