    Default Late Levels ITM w AQo UTG, facing 3bet

    Okay so here's an MTT hand from a $10 SuperStack mtt on Fulltilt (1,825 entrants, Top189 paid, 90 left )

    Blinds 1,200/2,400 300ante

    We have 22bb's (8M) 53,207 We haven't been on this table for very long.

    Mix of players on the table - a few regs., a few avg. players, one maniac, a Lag.. & one rock

    UTG 53,207 - raise to 5,599
    fold
    fold
    fold
    fold
    fold
    fold
    fold
    BTN (108,581) - 3bet to 17,500
    SB fold
    BB fold

    folded to UTG.. with 47,428 left what do we do???

    reads on villain - have been on his table in the past but quite awhile ago. At the time old notes say he's a LAG. One hand in history says -> with Bigstack LateLevels in MTT he raises T9s in UTG, eMP with a 13bb stack flats, HJ with 13bb's shoves, he reraises allin to iso (but this also $'s in eMP... but eMP folds).

    Further reads on villain... fwiw

    He's played ~1.200 mtt's roi+194% with avg. buyin $7 {in sng's -> 750games roi-6%, $6buyin)
    Another prior read we had from a SNG.. he limps utg w decent stack & folds to a 6bb shov on the BUbble

    His best cashes were - 3rd in a $26buyin MTT for $8.5k, and 1st of 2,111 in a $10superStack (< same game), & a 3rd in $10 mtt, 1st in a $10KO mtt. Last 20games - zero cashes.

    Here's a screenshot of the hand.

    I think you can and should find the fold here.

    You know that he knows ur utg range is tight (Aq+, 10's+, no? ) and you should respect that; I don't think there is room for an oop call here and with that info on villain I would wait for a better spot to get my chips in. You still have a decent 20bb stack.
    idk, how did you thought it through?

    Yup.. was never suggesting to flat here.... is clearly shove/fold.

    will expand upon my own thinking later on...

    It smells like a re-steal to me. It's a big re-raise which makes me think he may be trying to bully you out of the pot

    I think it's a good spot to put the pressure back on him and try to win a big pot without going to showdown at all and if he calls you're ahead of alot of his range.

    PO was raising from UTG lol, not a steal so it can't be a re-steal;
    not a big re-raise, but a standard 3bet.
    I really don't think he's ahead of anything in that guy's range there. At best it's a flip.

    Fair point on the re-steal comment lol, think I meant re-raise steal. I think villain is stealing here a fair bit of the time from the button or hoping for a call to take it away on the flop if checked to. SCs, small PPs and some As you have dominated are definitely in his range IMO.

    PO I didn't see what you had. Overs? mid or high pairs. Did u have a made hand or would it be a drawing hand?
    Well, keep in mind I always lose, but iwoulda called and see if I hit or atleast have a draw, maybe some good scare cards comeout.
