Played in an MTT last night, also 10 dollar buyin on bodog. Twice I saw 2 different players reraise, get reraised allin and call, both times with gut shot, nothin else. This was early in the tourney also, no big raises preflop, no reason to commit all their chips early. It was not a rebuy either. Just think some people just hope to get lucky, if they have a draw they're not folding. I always try to note these players, so when I hit something, no need to value bet, just shove.

Some people just play bad poker and some have money.
Also sometimes people misclick or are not paying attention.

Just reading the preflop action.... Limping UTG with KTs is not good.... callling a 4x raise with it Out of position is worse.
Hands you'll likely run into are ones that are totally dominating you. So what are you even hoping to see on the flop? I mean if you hit your K... how much do you plan on investing postflop? (no, I haven't read thru the rest of the hand... the preflop part is enough for me).

Maybe I'm stupid (cancel the maybe) but suited connected (using the term connected loosely here) I want limpers, I'm hopin for the flush especially with K. First to act, you're probably right, not a great play, but once they limped, 300 to call into 1050 (I think) pot, I think you're getting ok odds at that point, even against A K, middle PP, you're still around 1 in 4, and assume if you hit the great flop (like he did if you'd read the rest of hand) you're going to get even more. I don't think it was that bad a play, but other guy was a complete idiot.

Obviously it wasn't a bad play lol the rest of the hand proves it
if someone is going to stack off chasing a J high flush, I'm gonna play KTs all day

"Typically"... it's obviously not the kind of hand you'd want to be playing from EP 'but' of course you're able to know in advance that there's a guy who'll chase a J hi flush.. right?

Playing KJ, KT type hands from EP isn't a recommended hand to play imo (not just mine). There aren't alot of flops you'll actually even like to see as it has huge potential for reverse implied odds (ie. the K flops.. you're likely going to get action only from a 'bigger' K... same with the 'J').

Assistanc3.... EP raise 3x.. MP calls (early mid-levels.. say 75-150), LP calls.. I've got T3s in SB... I'm getting 'great odds' to call. So I should call here? I don't think so. BUT I did call.. & I flopped 2pr. & took down a HUGE pot. I should always call here then with the T3s? (Or only when I know I'm gonna get paid off HUGE for it when I hit my 1 in 100 times).

yes compare KTs flopping a flush to T3s flopping 2pr
still gonna take his Khigh flush all day over your 2pr

I don't know how he plays, I tend to be the player wanting to get involved early in tournaments to get in big pots and see how players play. With a nice chips stack, of course I am gonna play hands like KTs.

I've defended my blinds with worse then T3s

You're awesome! On the other hand... I'd 'suggest' you've got alot to learn about Tournament play. (but I'm sure you've got a TON of volume with the results to show how profitable these plays are in the long run).
