Default could this be the worst way to play KK ever?

As the title say could this be the worst way to play KK, this was the 5th hands into the game, the player in the cut off had limped 3 of the hands so far.

With 10 5 in the BB at the stage I was folding to even a min raise. OK so the flop was a little scary for his KK, but after the second round of checks he really must have known he was ahead. Then of course some donk rivers 2 pair and gives him a bad beat

Wow,, that was badly played for sure.I just took a quick glance and thought it was a horrible flop for pocket KK,s.But then I see he is holding the King ( 4 flush ) diamond threat.Definately should have bet it Big there.

Nothing about only calling a limp pre?

How 'BIG' should he have bet there? ... & why? (I'm assuming you were referring to the flop)

Default he should have bet but not big

    hi

afiaks - and its possible I speed read it

    he is in great shape

so the last thing he should have done is bet that scary flop big - gtd way to get a fold and loose tonnes of value

he should have bet small and hoped for a call

his check is fear of losing the other player who needs to massively catch up

checking is definately better than betting big which was guaranteed to get a fold

he got unlucky but that bad luck - betting big would have been bad and his own fault

    cheers SB

As I saw it at the time I thought he was mad not to raise pre flop he went into the flop 4 handed, not good for a pocket pair. The board was scary I admit but what does he know by checking after the flop, apart from the fact none of us were happy to bet. Then when everyone checks to him the second time he surely has to do something. I agree sticking a big bet in would get him no action but he has to build himself a bigger pot there if he can. Then when I bet the river he just calls, personally I would have played it so much different if I was him. But it's his money his right
