If you get AA how would you play it!!I normaly do a 2 or 3x pot raise before the flop and then a big raise after the flop!!After a few people are in!!Really effective when it works but ca really backfire!!How would you play it??

There are several posts on this subject already. When you are limping in with AA and plan to hammer the flop, be aware of what that flop is. 7 8 9 suited is not a good idea to hammer...neither is 10 10 9, or K K anything.

i wouldn't recommend limping with AA unless you are in EP with an extremely aggressive table where you KNOW someone will raise preflop. you must be at least 90 percent confident of this to get away with it. then, depending on the opponent, you can call or reraise.

Default how to play em AA

I have to agree with pirate.
early position limp and pray for a raise, otherwise i play as strongly as i would QQ or KK
bet and raise at least pot pre and post flop, assuming its not scary like paired or flushed board

I was on BB recently 6 handed, the button calls (with AA) everyone else folds. I had 78 off-suit, and we both had identical chip stacks (this was on the bubble incidentally)

Flop is 4, 5, 6. I'm in dreamland. I bet the minimum to test the water, he comes back with 4x raise so I move all-in and he calls and ends up out of the tourney. So even when it's down to 2 or 3 handed already, I would always raise with AA, you can't let someone see a free flop with that hand.

well i never slow play or limp in with aces,i dont want any deadbeat cards beating me
so i raise like 4 to 6 times the blind or all in depending my chip count, if i get a caller or 2 i go all in after the flop no if or maybe just drop the chips an lets go i got Aces..lol

It's a strong hand.......But really how would you play it? Hopefully like a winner.

Would you go allin or let someone chase and bet you on the river.
