Cool two 10's An A Flop

i got lucky here at the river but at the begining i was commited to see a flop with my pr 10's
an when i saw that 10 on the flop i was all in regarless, with trips, the call got easier
when i saw the raise an all in, i was like ummmmmmmmmm this is what i wanted
an it turn out that my trips were dead with the flush on the table, that turned out to a fullhouse at the river

just my thought on how i played my 1010
what do you think did i overplay my cards? or would you have done the same after seeing the flop

i really dont know how to react, because i also think/feel that if i go to a flop with a pair and hit my set, then basically i've hit what i "was there for" you know... so on a total flushy board i would maybe hold my horses and bet less than 1000 (not that it wasn't amazing.... 1000 on the second level of blinds ) but your opponent, pirates, wasnt going anywere also with his flopped flush you agree? so i guess it just was one of those hands....

First off, a set is junk on a flush flop unless you hit the boat. Second where is pirates at with this same hand review in the bad beats section. Come on you got mad lucky on the river and took a way the pot when he was clearly in the lead at the point where you go allin. In the end you won, keep playing and NH...all that, but a set does not beat a flush flop often...Even if he only had one high heart, the turn gives the flush, so you are still an underdog.

You should raise a little more before the flop, after it's well played, even if somedy have the flush or the straight you have 35% of chance to win, your call is good and the flop, your first raise too For me the 7h6h won't call if you raise 90

i think pocket jacks and under are just hands that are destined to lose... usually to like an ace middle card to. i've seen hands like 10's and jacks busted so many times its not even funny its sick

When you have a pp you can search the set and so just call like you'll do with suited connectors, or you have to raise a lot for being in a HU and win the hand if the opponent don't touch the flop..
You have a few chance to win if you play for the set but when you have it it's a lot of money.. really like suited connectors

    Default pocket 10s

Firstly your minimum raise preflop achieved very little - if you are going to raise then raise more (4 or 5xBB) this will limit the number of opponents you have and 76s would not be getting the correct odds to call.

You hit your 10 - great - but 3 hearts also the straight possibilities (QJ beats you) means you cannot get too excited.

I would stay in the hand but fold if I dont get my full house and there is alot of action - i.e my bets are raised and players go all in.

Against less players e.g. 1 or 2 (especially if I new them to be weak) then I may play the hand post flop the way that you did.

With the number of players in the hand its likely one of them has QJ, a made flush or at least a draw to the flush or straight - therefore you did overplay your hand.

Also it was v early in the tournament.

Smile set vs. flush on flop

this one is easy you call because of pot odds you have 24 pecent chance to catch your boat, and youre not 100 percent sure he has flush yet. easy call you got odds
(nice catch nice hand)If you had alot more chips you can fold, not here good play

    Default pocket 10s suck

First of all remember....every pp is just a pair and a good raise would still be called by a higher pocke, ak, aq, aj and at least kj....and of those cases, you are looking at 2 overs....personally i had any pp, unless it is kk or aa, and even those have to be played with care.....pocket 10s should want no callers or 1 at the most......that is unless u trip up with those 2 outs on the flop
