I sometimes wonder what is the difference between a poker player and a gambler?. I played in 3 tournies tonite, made the final table in every one, and lost out to a call my all in bet that had to know they were behind. It would appear that being a gambler pays off more times than being a poker player when you get to the final table. Now I understand why the infamouse song about poker is titled "The Gambler". Though it still turns your stomach.

Sure there is both skill and luck in poker. At the end of a tounament with the blinds are big, luck becomes a bigger factor....That's Poker

I agree that a lot of times it seems that the gamblers get lucky more often then the better hands hold up. But the best part of the story is that you are consistently making the final table!! Good job.

being a gambler at the final table can make you win but most of the time youll walk away in last because gamblers call to much and raise to many times they normally get beat by a guy who has a real hand but play poker how you want
