Default This hand sums up my weekend

    Not a great poker weekend.

On friday night I had my worst downswing yet on poker heaven playing €50 and €100 STTs - I have attached a sharkscope graph (below) - the long down bit was fri night.

On saturday night I entered a tournament on William Hill where the top 5 won a caribean cruise package worth $5000 (buy in was $24 - field of over 700).

I got down to the last 2 tables, pushed with JJ, got called by 99, the nine hit and I finished 14th.

On sunday I entered the €100k (buy in €130) on poker heaven and the first hand I played was this:

I tried to download the HH but was unable to do so.

I was SB with Q6, there were a few limpers so I completed and the flop was QQ9 (2 clubs).

It was checked to the button who bet say 60 into 150 pot (I have to estimate but the general play of the hand is correct).

    I call and BB calls.

Turn - 6 giving me the full house.

I check, I can't remember if the BB or button bet, but one of them bet around 1/2 of the pot, I raised, BB re-raised and button folded.

I think my hand is best at this point (only 1 hand beats me). So I call the re-raise with the intention of betting the river - giving him a chance to catch a flush if he is on a flush draw, and an Ace or something if he is on a complete bluff.

River - K (I dont think it completed the flush).

    So I have Q6, board is QQ96K

I bet around 3/4 pot, he re-raises all in. I have less than 1/3 my original starting stack, only Q9, KQ or KK beat me, I think its an easy call.

    I call. He shows Q9.

    I'm out.

Maybe this week will be better.

The Q9 against Q6 is a hand that you would lost every time that you play it. Nothing to do, you won't fold your monster.
    Better luck next time.
