Q1 : (B) - Since you got to count the 13 pocket cards aswell .
Q2 : The Awnser would be D : since the correct awnser aint given .(12)
Q3 : Nobody reduces anybody's value i guess ( kings ) still better : (A)
Q4 : A ... hu .. ( it's random hand vs weak 49 ) . So (A)

Question 2 is a tricky one since the correct awnser is not put in .

To easy Gypsy .

Default lol - I'm probably going to only get 1 right

hi

nice quiz BTW

1) B

I know its on 4kingpoker somewhere but from memory I think its 169

2) A

10th is nearest but I think AK off its 9th best hand, suited AK I put 5th but other put it 4th

Poker Starting Hands ranked

the top hands are all ranked differently by alot of pros and maths people but usually within 1 spot of each others opinion

3) C

(or maybe the obvious B) but

I think this maybe a bit of trick question - clearly if only KK against JTs then Kings are the stronger hand - but looking at this the other players in the hand are important at influencing the number of outs and live cards - KK is already underdog against the AA so I'm guessing but

with KK against AA (the best preflop hand of them all) you are dead with only 2 outs to make a better hand - and only those two outs through the flop, turn & river

with JTs afaiks against the other 3 hands with a favourable flop etc you have far more outs than 2 to break the AA - in other words I think playing the hand face up JTs has possible running suited cards and also running straight cards

but I may have completely misunderstood the question ;-)

4) A

I guess it's got to be around 60/40 of them having a better of worse hand

but would love to say B though that cant be right as all cards have a chance and C is clearly wrong leaving A

cheers scrawnybob

ps. when is teacher going to tell the class his right answers ?

gotta copy and paste a lil from bob

"with KK against AA (the best preflop hand of them all) you are dead with only 2 outs to make a better hand - and only those two outs through the flop, turn & river " quote from bob

in this case you would have more than 2 outs with the KK against AA....the KK could.. depending on what suiet they are. you could hit a flush and win even if the AA hit a 3rd A i know the chance of it hapening is very small but it could happen

Default good point

hi KJ

good point (I still think teach is going to give me 1 out of 4 on my test)

yep I guess if you hit 4 running cards you could make the flush (although that could also be dead if the aces are same suit)

not sure I entirely got the question - I think GT has posted the other hands for a reason so I'm figuring the suited and running live cards J 10 s have more chance to catch up and are less dead than the KK given that they are both definately behind

guess it will be a while before we get put out of our misery

cheers scrawnybob

Nice question, and not as simple as it seems. Looks like thelawyer figured this one out.
