    Interesting piece, Bob. But, as stated in the article, the Gap Concept does seem to hark back to a different time when people generally played poker a lot more tightly.

    In most tournaments I play in the successful players tend to be loose aggressives and they will be raising in front of you with all kinds of hands.

    If you are in mid-position with A10 and someone has raised before you they might have anything from Ace rag to two face cards and above - but some players will hike up the action with a lot less than that.

    All you can do is get a read on these players from earlier hands and pick your spot to trap them.
