it all depends on the table, the situation, the opponent.

For instance:

Just got dealt KK in a 6-handed SNG. 3 of us left. 2 cash. I'm the shortstack.

Blinds are 100 200 and I have a little more than 2000 left. Button folds. SB raises to 400. I raise it to 1000 and he shoves. I instacall. He has A8. Flop is TJ4. Had I called instead of raising, two things would have happened. He would have shoved the flop way behind, or he would have check/folded to my shove. Either way is good for me. But me shoving and him calling allows him to see 5 cards. And, of course, he hits the A on the turn.

there for slow playing is dangerous ... if u put allin, he might have folded and u took the pot...

im uselly satisfied with some chips instead of losing alot more

While slow-playing can be a challenge and an art, the corollary must be the ability to fold your monster on the flop. So many poor player get married to their AA, and are just unable to fold even if the flop is something like J/10/9 suited and the villain moves all-in ahead of them. If they bluffed you, then so be it. Most likely, you are dead.

Slo playing is the death of me!! If I flop 2 pairs or trips and wait to trap someone, I more often than not get outdrawn. So I no longer slo play, I raise 3x the blinds with these good hands

I slow play often.I have paid the price for slow playing too but if the board turns Sour and a player all of sudden bets big you can get out cheap.On the other hand when i slow play(smooth call) to an aggressive player and Push hard on the river I get paid off extremely well.Which in the long run I,d say its an advantage to slow play in certain situations.
